Accessibility statement
How we approach accessibility on neurako.com, the web app, and the mobile apps (Barrierefreiheitserklärung).
01. Scope and standard
We aim to make Neurako perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust, targeting WCAG 2.1 Level AA (and the related EN 301 549 criteria) on the marketing site, authenticated web app, and mobile apps. This statement covers those surfaces as of the last review date below. We do not use, and do not claim that, an AI overlay or similar widget makes the site compliant.
02. Known gaps
Known gaps we are working on include incomplete alternative text on some deck covers and generated images, incomplete skip-to-main coverage on parts of the authenticated web app, and further keyboard and screen-reader passes on checkout, the cookie banner, and the tutor. Study sessions should announce back-of-card images independently from the front. This list is not exhaustive.

If you encounter a barrier, email [email protected] or [email protected]. Please include the page or screen, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology you use if relevant. We typically reply within a few business days.
04. Enforcement
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the market surveillance authority (Marktüberwachung) responsible for the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz in your German Land. The federal information point is the Bundesfachstelle Barrierefreiheit.
05. Micro-enterprise assessment
Under BFSG § 3(3), micro-enterprises that only provide services may be exempt. A Kleinstunternehmen assessment (headcount and turnover) is pending founder confirmation and will be recorded in writing. Until that assessment is filed, we publish this statement as a good-faith accessibility contact page rather than a claim of exemption or of full BFSGV conformity.
