Data Deletion Requests

This page explains how users of Neurako can request deletion of some or all of their data. It is provided for users of the Neurako mobile apps, web app, and app store listings.

01. Overview

Timothy Holbrook, operating under the brand Neurako operates Neurako. We provide two different deletion paths:

  • Delete learning data while keeping your account active.
  • Delete your account and associated data permanently.

If you cannot access the app, you can also email privacy@neurako.com to request deletion support.

02. Delete Data Without Deleting Your Account

If you want to keep your Neurako account but delete your learning data, sign in and use the deletion controls in Settings.

In-app steps

  1. Sign in to app.neurako.com or open the Neurako mobile app.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Select `Delete All Decks & Data` or `Delete All Decks & Learning Data`.
  4. Confirm the deletion request.

Data that is deleted

  • Flashcard decks
  • Cards within those decks
  • Review history and study logs linked to those decks
  • Related media files, including stored images and uploaded study media

Data that remains

  • Your account stays active
  • Account identity details such as email address and login credentials remain
  • Subscription and purchase metadata may remain while your account is active
  • Support or security records may be retained where needed to operate the service

03. Delete Your Account & Associated Data

If you want us to delete your Neurako account and the data associated with it, you can do this from Settings inside the app or request help by email.

Account deletion path

  1. Sign in to your account.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Select `Delete Account` or `Delete Account & All Data`.
  4. Complete the confirmation step shown in the app.

You may also email privacy@neurako.com with the subject line Privacy Request if you cannot access your account.

Account deletion is irreversible. Once processed, your account is removed and you will no longer be able to sign in with it.

04. Retention & Exceptions

Our current retention practices are described in our Privacy Policy. In summary:

  • Account data is deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
  • Audio recordings uploaded for AI processing are deleted within 30 days of upload.
  • Images remain available until the related card or your account is deleted.
  • Aggregated and anonymised analytics may be retained beyond active account use, but no personally identifiable analytics records are retained beyond 24 months.

We may retain limited records where necessary for security, fraud prevention, billing, dispute handling, or legal compliance. If a specific record must be retained, we limit retention to what is reasonably necessary for that purpose.

We recommend including the email address associated with your account and a short description of whether you want to delete specific learning data or your full account.
